Want to make a difference to the youth in our society? In this diploma you will learn about young people in society, their development and the issues confronting many young people including family breakdown, homelessness, mental health and juvenile justice. You will cover different types of youth work, including case work, community development and program development.
210 hours of fully supervised work placement is included in the course.
Successful graduates of this course are eligible for direct entry into the second year of ACAP’s Bachelor of Social Work with credit for 8 specified units.
On-campus in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, or online which combines online study with compulsory on-campus workshops (workshop locations subject to class numbers).
